WATER-JEL® is a special gel that absorbs the heat of the burn. It reduces pain, cools the skin, and prevents infections that may occur through the airway. When applied quickly enough, it prevents the burn from deepening.
Unlike petroleum-based products (which trap heat in the skin), WATER-JEL® Burn Gel begins to absorb the heat from the burn area and dissipates it from the affected area. Due to its technology similar to burn blankets and other burn dressings, the burn gel provides the same cooling and pain-relieving effect for minor burns.
WATER-JEL® Burn Gel is available as a pump gel dispenser.
It can be used for all types of burns (heat, steam, electricity, flash, explosion, radiation, etc.).
